About
My name is Nick Boggan, I am a Halifax based Interdisciplinary designer and a graduate with a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Design from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design (NSCAD) University. While my work is considered interdisciplinary, ideally my practice focuses on human-centred product and communication design; emphasizing sustainability and environmental responsibility through design practice.
My graduate thesis project revolved around creating affordable solutions for sustainable home energy retrofits, and access to information as it relates to old and aging homes in Nova Scotia. I used my interdisciplinary practice to create a system of print, digital, and physical assets to assist homeowners in being fully informed before spending their money.
My photography practice has been ongoing since 2013, and includes work on both film and digital media. I have been employed full time as an automotive product photographer since June of 2022, operating one fixed studio as well as two temporary/movable studios around the HRM.
